Where does the weather come from?

All METARs, TAFs and SIGMETs come from the NOAA / NWS Aviation Weather Center. Data is refreshed automatically while the app is open.

Why don't I see any nearby airports?

Nearby uses your location to sort airports by distance. Allow location access in Settings → PWB → Location, or increase the range using the ruler icon. You can always search by ICAO code instead.

An airport shows no data or an error code.

Some stations report intermittently. Pull to refresh, check the ICAO code, or try again shortly — the source data may be briefly unavailable.

Can I change units and language?

Yes — open Settings in the app to switch speed, altitude, distance, temperature and pressure units, choose from six languages, and set light or dark appearance.

Not for operational use. PWB is an informational and situational-awareness tool. It is not certified or approved by any civil aviation authority and must not be used as a primary source for flight planning, navigation or in-flight decisions. Privacy

No account, no ads, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. PWB does not sell personal data or share it with data brokers. The Privacy Policy explains the public weather, mapping and support services used by the app and website.
